Am I to become a son or a daughter of God? Is that really God’s plan for me?

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Do I really need a “new birth”?

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

In verse 7, He said Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

And verse 36 of the same chapter, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Is believing part of the plan?

John 6: 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent

Is He really the only way?

John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

On my own am I not good enough to be in God’s presence?

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God vs. 23

God REALLY made a way for ME to be in His presence forever?

Romans 5: 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

By hearing and reading the Word of God I can know this for a fact?

John 5 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Will I be able to “hear” what God is saying to me?

John 10: 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

So why is the Bible so important to my journey?

John 20: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name

So, I CAN escape death and have Eternal life in God!

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

All I must do is sincerely pray, calling on Jesus to forgive my sins and be my Savior to receive this New Life?

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

Pray the simple prayer, repenting of your sins, which was the way we were born the first time. Now acknowledge Jesus as your savior and invite Him into your life. This is how you will be born the second time.

After you have prayed this prayer, please let us know. Continue to the spend time in His Presence so you can learn from the God of the Universe, knowing every moment His peace and power are available to you now through eternity.
